Alan Rogers Review
Camping de la Plage is really two different sites rolled into one, with 450 pitches divided by the very busy N98 road, but serviced by an underpass. You have the choice of a sometimes very crowded beach site, or a more peaceful and relaxed woodland area. There is only a short walk between the two, but they differ in their atmosphere. The wood area has well proportioned pitches and naturally enjoys shade from trees, while the beach side pitches vary in size and require long leads for electricity (4-16A). The site is very efficiently run.
The site also has a range of properties to rent. Ste Maxime is 6 km. away and the site is not very far from many of the familiar names of the south of France – Saint Tropez, Port Grimaud, Fréjus and Saint Aygulf.
Six toilet blocks of varying quality but well equipped and clean. Baby bath. Facilities for disabled visitors. Laundry facilities. Motorcaravan services. Large supermarket. Bar, restaurant and takeaway. Tennis. Small play area. Bicycle hire. Fridge rental. WiFi throughout (charged). Charcoal barbecues are not permitted.
