Camping de la Claysse is an attractive small site run by a very friendly family. It is located in a natural setting in the heart of the Southern Ardèche countryside just on the outskirts of the small village of Saint Sauveur de Cruzières. It is an ideal base from which to explore the Ardèche Gorges on foot, by bike or in the car. The site has 58 pitches with 45 medium size (80-90 sq.m), level, grass pitches for touring, all with 10A electricity. They are separated by small hedges and mature trees offer varying amounts of shade.
A restaurant and takeaway service is available at lunch and dinner. During high season, the owners organise twice weekly dances preceded by a meal such as paella, pork on a spit and moules frites - not to be missed! There is family entertainment for young and old in high season. It is also an excellent starting point for discovering the area: the legendary Pont du Gard, the Ardèche gorges, Trabuc caves, the Cocalière grottos, the Aven d’Orgnac and much more.
