Camping Grebbelinie is a friendly, family run, environmentally green campsite within the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park. The pitches are large and grassy and all have 6/10A electricity, water, drainage, WiFi and TV connections. A number of pitches run along a river bank, with other pitches more centrally located and with shade from tall trees. There is a pleasant café/snack bar and a good playground. Opposite the site, Fort Daatselaar has an interesting history dating back to the mid 18th century, and merits a visit. There are many delightful walks along the Gelderlei valley and the site owners will be pleased to recommend options.
A bed and breakfast service is available here and appeals to backpackers passing through the region. Fully equipped safari tents and mobile homes are also available for hire. Camping Grebbelinie is well located for exploring the broader reach, with the Hoge Veluwe National Park within easy reach, as well as the Utrechtse Heuvelrug.
Several heated sanitary facilities, the most recent with underfloor heating, provide washbasins and showers and include provision for children and disabled visitors. Snack bar/café. Play area. Small petting zoo. Bicycle hire. Safari tents and mobile homes to rent. Bed and breakfast service. WiFi throughout.
