Alan Rogers Review
You'll find no noisy entertainment at Camping de Besançon La Plage, so the site is perfect for those looking for peace and quiet. That said, children will enjoy the sprawling lawns, sports field, the large swimming pool and playground, and the adults will love the location on the River Doubs. The pitches are of a good size and all have electricity (16A), water and drainage. Choose from shaded, partially shaded or no shade picthes, on hard ground or grass. There also bungalows and tents for rental.
Within a short walk from the site is a large supermarket, and nearby is a tram stop from where you can get to the town centre. Cycling, walking and fishing are very popular in the area, and travelling eastward for approximately an hour will have you at the Swiss border.
Clean sanitary facilities with unisex private sinks and showers. Baby room. Washing machines. Dryers. Washing up sinks. Snack bar. Fresh bread daily. Large swimming pool with diving boards. Playground. Crazy golf. Multi-sports field. Table tennis. Boules. WiFi.
