Alan Rogers Review

Camping Cul is a friendly and relaxed site in a good location on the banks of the River Inn, east of Davos. The site was established in 1952 and has remained in the same family ever since. Pitches are grassy and lightly shaded. Many have electrical connections and virtually all have fine views of the magnificent mountain scenery all around. On-site amenities include a bar, small shop and snack bar. There is a fully equipped communal kitchen. This is excellent walking and cycling country, with a number of routes possible direct from the site. The Rhätische Bahn is a superb mountain railway passing close to the site and discounted tickets are available for purchase at reception.

A number of world class resorts are within easy reach, notably Davos, Klosters and Saint Moritz. The latter is one of the Alpine region’s glitziest resorts, maybe best known for its designer shops, grand hotels and, of course, for the terrifying Cresta Run, the original adrenaline ride! Zernez is located on the edge of the Swiss National Park, a vast area extending to the south, with stunning mountain scenery at every turn, especially on the southbound road towards the Bernina Pass.

Three toilet blocks provide the usual facilities (one only open in high season). Laundry facilities. Communal kitchen. Motorcaravan services. Small shop and restaurant (both Jun-Sept). Bar (May-Oct). TV and games in the bar. Play area. Activities and entertainment programme. WiFi (charged).
