This is a popular, well established campsite, busy during the warm winter months with 179 pleasant pitches with shrubs and trees providing pitch dividers and shade. A few pitches are quite close to the road but it is not busy with traffic. All the pitches are flat and are of an acceptable 80-100 sq.m. with a clean stone chip surface and 6/10A electricity supply. During the hot summer months, overhead shade canopies are erected on several pitches. This is a pleasant and uncomplicated site with a peaceful atmosphere and a spa.
The two toilet blocks are cleaned daily. The attractive, tiled, oval pool (14x9 m) with adjacent sunbathing lawns is overlooked by a large, well constructed building acting as a bar and a restaurant in high season (July and August). Many on site use this same building during the winter to arrange activities which include whist, line dancing, socials, painting and crafts. The nearby towns of Garrucha and Vera have a good selection of supermarkets and both boast excellent street markets on Fridays and Saturdays respectively. The hill top town of Mojacar, dating back to 2000 BC, is visited by most but is geared for the tourist.
