Well located by the side of the River Meuse, Camping Communal De Devant Bouvignes is about a 20-minute walk into the town of Dinant, or an unmarked cycle path is available on the western bank. Sanitary facilities are modern and well-kept, with a token system operating for showers. The touring pitches are all on grass, and there are several permanent pitches located on the river side of the site, these are allocated to seasonal or longer-term rentals. There can be some noise from the road and from freight traffic on the railway on the opposite side of the river.
When visiting Dinant, a cable car trip to the citadel is worth a visit and you should also keep your eyes open for one of the several statues around the town commemorating the birth of Adolph Sax, the inventor of the Saxophone who was born in the town. Don't miss the Leffe Maison tour if you're a fan of beer.
