Occupying a terraced hillside above colourful shingle coves and two small associated lagoons, this site falls into four areas. The central one with reception and supermarket has a group of 44 touring pitches, below this are chalets for rent and a few touring pitches on ground falling away towards the lagoons and the beach. A second larger touring section also has 54 mobile homes owned by tour operators and finally, the bar/restaurant, pool and other leisure facilities take pride of place on the hilltop, with glimpses of the sea through the trees. The pool and terrace area were refurbished a couple of years ago. There can be some train noise, especially in the front section.
The site is in a protected area and the buildings are in keeping with the environment in materials used and quality of construction. Entertainment and activities are organised for children and adults in high season and there is a small, but well equipped, gym and a TV room. There are good quality pools (with lifeguards in July/Aug) and a sub-aqua diving school operates on the site in high season. Nearby is the picturesque fishing village of L’Ametlla de Mar, famous for its fish restaurants, and the site is within the Park Natural del Delta de l’Ebre. It is about 20 minutes from Europe’s second largest theme park, Port Aventura.
