This large campsite has a lovely setting alongside a slow flowing river against a backdrop of stunning cliffs and tree-covered slopes. There are 240 small to medium sized pitches, 140 for touring, all with 5A electricity and shaded by trees. Many are fully serviced (water, drainage and electricity). The older part of the campsite houses a well stocked shop and a bar/restaurant adjacent to the swimming pools. A small stream runs along the lower side which can be seen from the pool and restaurant area, which faces the swimming pool complex. In summer, children’s club activities are run from here and this is definitely the part of the campsite with a lot going on.
The main pool is heated and open all year, as are the smaller pools which can be fully covered and heated to 30 degrees. There are two communal barbecue areas, including a newly built one near the restaurant (no barbecues are allowed on pitches). There 15 chalets for hire. Very popular with Spanish campers who keep their caravans with large awnings here (so looks rather untidy around the middle pitches), the site is on the edge of the village, which has a shop, bar and restaurant. The beaches and attractions of the Costa Brava are just 30 km away.
