Alan Rogers Review
Estanyet can be found midway between Barcelona and Valencia and would make a good stopover when travelling along Spain’s north east coast. A small pebble beach is just across the road and it is a 15-minute walk to the village of Les Cases. This friendly, welcoming site has 98 grass and sand pitches ranging in size from 65 to 90 sq.m. They are equipped with 5/10A electricity hook-ups. If you plan a longer stay, there is a good restaurant on site and a swimming pool.
If you have the time to spend a few days here, there are some interesting places within a short drive, notably Peñiscola, known as the ‘Gibralter of Valencia’, a fortified seaport built on a rocky headland. The Ebro Delta natural park is an important habitat for migratory birds, while Vinarós has beautiful unspoilt coves.
Sanitary blocks with solar-powered hot showers, bathrooms for children and facilities for disabled visitors. Laundry. Supermarket. Bar/restaurant and takeaway. Heated swimming pool. Entertainment and activities for children (July/Aug). WiFi over site (free). Mobile homes and bungalows to rent.
