Alan Rogers Review
Even non-drinkers probably know that Pilsen is famous for its beer (Pils) and is the home of the Skoda car factory. Camping Bilá Hora is situated amidst trees in the suburb of Bilá Hora, about three kilometres north of the city centre, on the edge of town. The 50 pitches are on a slope in a clearing, but level concrete tracks have been made for caravans and motorhomes, with electricity available at 30 pitches. Some pitches are between wooden bungalows.
Traffic in the town centre is heavy, so if you wish to visit the city where beer has been brewed since 1295, find the campsite and use the bus. Visits to the brewery may be arranged.
The toilet block in the camping area has British style WCs, bath and a laundry, and there is another one by the bungalows (cleaning and maintenance can be variable). Washing machine and iron. Motorhome services. Kitchen. Restaurant. Kiosk with small terrace (all year). Bicycle hire. Playground.
