Camping Beim Freibad is a municipal site midway between Würzburg and Stuttgart on the eastern outskirts of the small town of Künzelsau, the capital of the Hohenlohe District of Baden-Württemberg, It lies in a valley alongside the River Kocher surrounded by picturesque rolling hills. The town hosts a large festival in July. The campsite has a sandy beach and large open-air swimming pool complex, with a toboggan and large grass sunbathing area. There are 28 pitches for tents and tourers with electricity available, some by the river. Cars are parked away from the pitches.
The town has some interesting old houses, bars and restaurants, a museum, a cable car, and traditional markets on Tuesdays and Fridays selling regional specialities.

From Würzburg take E41 south for 63 km. and take exit 6. Turn left (west) on L515 for 400 m. then left (south) on L1046. Continue southeast for 28 km. to Künzelsau and follow signs to site.
