Alan Rogers Review
Situated in an area of natural beauty between two lakes – Bourget and Annecy – this is a very French site offering 100 mainly flat, but some gently sloping, pitches. Long leads can be borrowed from reception (often required). It is open plan, with the only shade coming from the tall hedges around the perimeter, and with glorious views across the valley at one side of the site where the hedges have been kept low. The town of Albens is a short walk away, and the village church, with its bells, is next to the site. The very friendly owners are happy to help you with planning your visit here, but no English is spoken!
For those who want to sample a real taste of the country this rural campsite is ideally situated, whilst for those who are interested in visiting historical towns, Annecy and Aix-les-Bains are within easy reach.
One old style sanitary block (separate men’s and women’s facilities) with mostly Turkish style WCs, hot showers and open washbasins. Laundry facilities in reception. Basic play area.

From exit 15 on A41 Geneva-Chambéry motorway, take N201 southwest for 6 km. to the town of Albens, then follow signs to campsite from the main set of traffic lights, passing the Mairie on your right. The campsite is the next turning on the left.
