Alan Rogers Review

The family campsite of Arrighi, on the Italian island of Elba, is in a splendid position directly on Barbarossa beach. The 70 tightly positioned touring pitches are of average size, with 5A electricity, and some are well shaded and separated by hedges. The site is split by a minor road and beach access is gained from the lower half. A full service restaurant, bar and takeaway are available outside the site, on the beach. As the Arrighi is fairly remote, it would suit those who enjoy a more simple style of camping holiday.

The nearby town of Porto Azzurro is one of the liveliest on the island, particularly in the high season. The campsite, however, is relatively quiet and ideal for relaxing breaks throughout the season. Close to the campsite are mountain bike trails and trekking routes; guides are available. The Island’s clear, blue waters are popular with snorkellers and divers. The beach of Mola (3 km) is properly equipped for dog walkers and your pets are welcome.
