With a delightful waterside and woodland setting, Spreewald-Natur-Camping "Am Schlosspark" is about ten minutes walk from the centre of the much-visited old town of Lübbenau, on the banks of the Hauptspree. There are 150 units (they may be rather close together at very busy times), all with 16A electricity connections, and six now have water and waste water. They are mainly on flat grass but with a central hardstanding area for motorhomes and a long area for tents at the end. At public holidays and during the high season, the site can be very busy and facilities may be stretched.

You can paddle your own boat, go for a trip in a gondola, explore the Spreewald Biosphere Nature Reserve or just look round the interesting old town from this pleasant site. A public path passes between the site and the river; insect repellent is advisable.

Facilities

The refurbished, heated sanitary facilities are quite good with free hot water for the washbasins (some private cabins), but the showers require tokens from reception. Accessible Facilities. Motorhome services. Kitchen. Laundry. Small shop for basics at reception (all year). Fresh bread and breakfast available. Small play area. Boat and bicycle hire. Fishing. WIFI, Pets allowed.

Location

Site is halfway between Berlin and Dresden. From A15 exit 2 (Boblitz) follow the 115 into Lübbenau. Opposite he railway station turn right into Poststrasse, at end of road site is signed to right. Go past the Schloss and site is 800 m. on left. Note: only follow signs marked Camping Schlosspark.
