Navarrosse is a member of the Campéole group and is located on the very large Lac de Sanguinet, just 7 km. from the Atlantic beaches. The location of this traditional campsite is attractive, with a long sandy beach (no dogs) and a small harbour (ideal for mooring small boats) on one side, and to the other, a small canal. The 278 pitches are of a good size, mostly on fairly level, sandy soil with good shade. Most have 10A electricity. Many water-based activities take place on the lake, including sailing, jet skiing and windsurfing. For cyclists, there are many tracks to various places. Mobile homes, chalets and fully equipped tents are available to rent.
Some units are specially adapted for disabled visitors. The lake, which is one of the largest in western Europe and the Dune de Pyla, Europe’s highest sand dune is close by, as well as the Arcachon basin, the great city of Bordeaux and the world renowned Médoc vineyards.
