Camp Hverringe (Bøgebjerg Strand) is one of the excellent TopCamp sites in Denmark and has a great location on the waters of the Storebælt and Romsø Sund. This makes it an ideal base for all kinds of watersports (the site rents out motor boats) or for a relaxing holiday on the beach in what is said to be one of the sunniest and driest parts of Denmark. This well-maintained campsite has 375 pitches, some with marvellous views over the sea and to Romsø Island. Around 340 level pitches for touring units, all with 10/16A electricity, are on well-kept grassy lawns separated by hedges and shrubs. The campsite is divided into different areas, each with its own character.

The water park is one of the main attractions at Camp Hverringe, with something for everyone to enjoy. There are three swimming pools for all ages, slides, and a water playground. The children's playground is another popular spot for children, with various equipment to keep them entertained, including trampolines, bouncy castles, swings, slides, and more.

Camp Hverringe has direct access to a beautiful beach, where guests can swim, sunbathe, build sandcastles, or simply enjoy the views of the Great Belt. In addition to the above, Camp Hverringe also offers a variety of other activities, such as mini-golf, table tennis, and bike rentals. There is also a regular entertainment program during the summer months. The ancient village of Viby with its old half-timbered houses are nearby.

Directions to Camp Hverringe

From Odense follow 165 road northeast towards Kerteminde. Continue to Mesinge and Dalby and from Dalby follow signs for Bøgebjerg Strand.
