Galeb is an attractive, grassy, beachside site set beneath mature trees. The River Cetina is just to the north of the site and the pretty port where river meets sea is a powerful attraction complemented by the ancient forts and pirate buildings above. A dramatic, 1,000-metre rock backdrop to the whole site reflects the light differently as the day progresses and the superb sunsets paint it with amazing orange and red hues. The numbered touring pitches are level and most have some shade. However, in high season, units are very close together and there will be little privacy; All are fully serviced (16A Europlug). Some pitches are right at the water’s edge, from where there are views of the coast and the island of Brac.
Thirty-five bungalows set back from the beach in a separate area are available for rent. There are also 26 tour operator pitches. The site sits between the road and the sea with a long beach frontage of gravel and sand. There is a good restaurant and bar with a patio and a separate pizzeria with a terrace from where you can enjoy those wonderful sunsets is close to the beach. A large range of activities is available on site and the interesting village of Omis is 800 m. from the gate with its many bars, restaurants and banks. Bakery items are available on site, in addition there is a shopping centre at the site entrance. This is a well managed site in a very interesting location and can be enjoyed by the whole family.
