A pretty little site covering 12 acres and hidden deep in the countryside in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Boscrege will suit those who want a quiet, peaceful base for their Cornish holiday. The main touring field is large and gently sloping. It nestles at the foot of Tregonning Hill with its striking hilltop cross. The pitches are generously spaced around the edge, backing on to hedging and leaving plenty of room in the centre for ball games. There are two small, attractive paddock areas with 26 caravan holiday homes and a field for 35 touring units, all with 10A electricity.
A nature trail has been developed which will help you identify the birds which can be seen around the park. This park is a welcome retreat for couples and families with young children.
Facilities
Traditional, fully equipped toilet block, now showing its age, includes a smaller basin for children. Washing machine, dryer and microwave. Two play areas for smaller children and central ball area. Amusement machines, pool table and TV room. Nature trail and dog walking area. WiFi (charged).
Location
From Helston take A394 signed Penzance. Shortly turn right (B3302) signed Hale. Take third left to Carleen. At T-junction turn right to Godolphin village. Pass church, turn left signed Ashton and site. At top of hill where road turns sharp left, continue down lane to site in 0.8 miles.
