Bosco Verde is a traditional, Italian, family-run site which is dominated by permanent Italian pitches, bungalows and mobile homes. The 150 flat touring pitches with 6A electricity are set aside at one end of the site in four straight lines, with an additional 10 separate pitches for motorhomes. Little shade is imparted by the young trees but there is a provision for artificial shading. Another shaded area is provided for tents. A small amenities complex offers a small bar, meals from a little restaurant (with a good menu), a shop and a takeaway service. A play area and pool are also provided.
The play area requires supervision as the slides and swings are on gravel. An additional small area with a stage is provided for entertainment in high season, but one can see this area becoming very crowded. The small pool (with lifeguard) has some sun loungers. Bathing caps are required. For those interested in sport, facilities are limited but there is a grass five-a-side court behind high wire fencing and outdoor table tennis is available. A well stocked shop is tucked in beside the restaurant and a hamburger and pizza stall. Vehicular traffic is only permitted at certain times.
