Alan Rogers Review
Blackshaw Moor Caravan and Motorhome Club Site is situated on the southern edge of the Peak District National Park and non-members are very welcome. It is within walking distance of Tittesworth Reservoir and nature reserve, and the town of Leek is just three miles away with a range of antique and mill shops. The site offers 89 spacious touring pitches with 16A electricity and digital TV aerial connections. They are attractively laid out on terraces with level hardstandings separated by grass. Eight pitches are available with all services. The Peak District is a haven for nature lovers, walkers and cyclists.
The site is ideally located for visiting Buxton, Bakewell and Hartington, all less than half an hour by car, and also the world famous Wedgwood Potteries.
Two modern sanitary units provide showers and washbasins in cabins. En-suite facilities for disabled visitors, baby room with bath and changing area (both key accessed). Laundry facilities with drying room. Motorhome services. Reception sells some basic camping and food items. Calor gas. Tourist information room. Play area. WiFi over site (charged).
