Alan Rogers Review

Barn Farm is in the heart of the Peak District and provides an idyllic location where peacocks roam free. It is ideally placed for exploring the many local attractions, and with top quality facilities and breathtaking scenery, there is everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The 62 pitches are a mixture of grass and hardstanding (levelling blocks may be required), and have 13A Europlugs; a small number are fully serviced. All enjoy lovely views over the surrounding countryside. This is a good site for those who enjoy the great outdoors. Families are catered for with a play area for under 10s, a TV room, arcade games and a pool table.

The Limestone Way passes close to the farm, which is situated at the junction of four major walking routes through the area. Robin Hood’s Stride and Catcliffe Rocks are popular local climbing areas. Bordering the farm is Stanton Moor with its ancient Nine Ladies stone circle. A little farther afield is a pleasant walk through the Lathkill Dale, alongside the River Lathkill.
