Alan Rogers Review
Nobody should visit central Slovenia without stopping off to wander around the unspoilt small country town of Kamnik which was once Ljubljana’s main trade rival. The town is delightful and is only five minutes walk from this basic campsite, which is rather unprepossessing, comprising a small open field with two very basic prefabricated toilet units. However, there are compensations. Although the actual camping area is but 1 ha. it is only the edge of a much larger meadow, with sports centre adjoining. Opposite the site is a friendly bar/café. Ljubljana is only an hour’s drive to the south.
