Yew Tree Park

Canterbury, Kent, South East

Alan Rogers Review

Yew Tree Park is a small, quiet site located in the heart of the Kent countryside overlooking the Chartham Downs. Just five miles south of Canterbury and eight miles north of the M20, it is ideally placed either to explore the delights of the ancient city or the many attractions of eastern and coastal Kent. With some caravan holiday homes, the site also has 45 pitches for tourers and tents. The 20 pitches with electricity (10A) are marked on mainly level grass either side of the entrance road, the remainder unmarked on a rather attractive, sloping area, left natural with trees and bushes creating cosy little recesses in which to pitch. There are mobile homes and apartments to rent.

Getting there...
Park is on B2068 Canterbury - Folkestone road. From south, take exit 11 from the M20. From Canterbury, ignore signs to Petham and Waltham on B2068 and continue towards Folkestone. From either direction, turn into road beside the Chequers Inn, turn left into park and follow road to owners’ house/reception. O.S.GR: TR138507.
