This attractive, family run site near the mountain village and ski resort of St Jean Montclar is open most of the year. Being at an altitude of 1,300 m. the nights can get quite cold in summer. The 130 shady terraced pitches, with 70 for touring, are separated by small shrubs and alpine trees. All pitches are close to electricity and water points. An attractive bar and restaurant overlooks the two outdoor swimming pools, with the shallow pool having a water slide ideal for children. A new indoor complex with a heated pool, gym, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room makes a splendid addition to the facilities.

Central toilet block (heated in winter) and facilities for disabled visitors. Two washing machines. Motorcaravan services. Bar/restaurant. Two outdoor swimming pools and new indoor complex with heated pool, gym, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room (all amenities open 15/5-9/9). Tennis. Boules. Two play areas. Multisport pitch. Rafting, walking (July/Aug). Free WiFi.

Getting there...
Site is 35 km. south of Gap via D900B. Beyond Serre Ponçon, turn right, D900 signed Selonnet, St Jean Montclar. Entering St Jean Montclar turn left, pass chalets, shops, fork right down lane to campsite in 250 m. Approach roads are steep and icy in winter.
