Les Vikings is located close to the attractive resort of Barneville-Carteret on the western side of the Cherbourg peninsula. The site is just 400 m. from a sandy beach. There are 250 pitches of which around 70 are reserved for touring, the rest being occupied by mobile homes and chalets, some of which are for rent. Pitches are grassy and of a reasonable size. Most of the site’s amenities are grouped around the entrance and these include a swimming pool (covered and heated), a restaurant/pizzeria and bar as well as a grocery shop. During the whole season, various activities are organized including discos and karaoke evenings.

Getting there...
From Cherbourg, head southwest on the D650 to Barneville-Carteret. Site is at St Jean-de-la-Rivière, just to the south of the town and clearly signed.
