Woodclose is an established, nine-acre park situated in the Lune Valley and just one mile from the market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, this park offers a peaceful and secluded setting catering for walkers, tourers and people who just want to relax. Access to the park is narrow, so care should be taken. The whole park has a very well cared for appearance with well mown grass, flowering tubs and neat hedges. Screened by a hedge and placed around the perimeter are several seasonal pitches with touring units being placed in the centre. In the camping area, there are a number of ‘wigwam’ pods with all facilities for luxury camping, one being at ground level for disabled access.
Facilities
Two toilet blocks, the main one central to the touring area. These facilities are all unisex in large, heated, individual rooms with toilets, washbasin and toilet or washbasin and shower, all well equipped and very clean. Well equipped laundry. The second block is in the lower part, again all unisex in cubicles. Facilities for disabled visitors. No motorcaravan service point. Shop. Small adventure play area. Bicycle hire. Internet access. American style motorhomes accepted (limited space). Gates locked 24.00-07.30, warden and telephone on site for emergencies.
