Alan Rogers Review
Willowbank Park is well situated for the Sefton coast and Southport, set on the edge of sand dunes amongst mature, wind swept trees. Entrance to the park is controlled by a barrier, with a pass-key issued at the excellent reception building which doubles as a sales office for the substantial, high quality caravan holiday home development. There are now 87 touring pitches, 30 on gravel hardstandings, 24 on grass (all with 10A electricity) and a further 33 new pitches with 16A electricity. These are on grass hardstanding using an environmentally friendly reinforcement system. Tents, large units (longer than 8 m) and caravans of foreign manufacture are not accepted.
Facilities
The purpose built, heated toilet block (refurbished in 2010) is of a high standard including an excellent bathroom for disabled visitors, although the showers are rather compact. Baby room. Laundry. Motorcaravan service point. Play area. Field for ball games. Beauty treatments.
