Whitemead Caravan Park

Wool, Dorset, South

Alan Rogers Review

The Church family continue to make improvements to this attractive little park which is within walking distance of the village of Wool, between Dorchester and Wareham. Very natural and with open views over the Frome Valley water meadows, it provides 95 numbered pitches on flat grass sloping gently north and is orchard-like in parts. The 76 touring pitches are well spaced, mostly backing onto hedges or fences and all have electrical connections (10A). All roads are now tarmac. There are no caravan holiday homes but 19 pitches are seasonal. There may be some rail noise but this is not intrusive at night.
