For caravans, motorcaravans and trailer tents only, this is the ideal stopover for anyone heading either north or south, near the M6 motorway, but far enough away for the traffic noise not to be too disturbing. There are 80 level pitches on gravel, divided into bays of about six or seven units (25 are for touring units). All touring pitches have electricity (16A). The bays are backed by grassy banks alive with rabbits and birds – a long list in the office describes the large variety of birds to be seen on the site. There is good site lighting and a late arrivals area.
