Washington is a pleasant campsite to the north of Worthing with a bias towards tenting families and groups. It provides only 21 hardstanding pitches for caravans and motorcaravans, and a large gently sloping grassy field with enough space for 80 tents. There are 23 electric hook-ups (16A). There is some road noise from the A24. Local attractions (all with free admission, check opening times) include Highdown Chalk Gardens at Worthing, Nutbourne Vineyard near Pulborough, and Steyning Museum.
