Alan Rogers Review
The Scheibner family first thought of opening a campsite when touring Canada in 1998, so it is not surprising to find reminders of their trip appearing in the site’s buildings with pictures and Canadian names. They found their spot on land once belonging to the Stasi, the East German secret police, and turned it into a well kept and welcoming campsite. It has 90 touring pitches, either under mature pine trees in the woods or on open ground, partly separated by low bushes and shrubs, in front of reception and the sanitary block. All have 16A electricity and there are 12 with electricity, water, drainage and hardstanding.
