Alan Rogers Review
Attractively located in a century old area of woodland and fields in the province of the Hunebedden, this is an attractive, large and well organised site. The Hunebedden are prehistoric monuments, built of enormous granite boulders and older than Stonehenge. The 600 touring pitches at Witterzomer are on grass with a woodland setting, with varying degrees of shade and 4-10A electricity. Most also have water, a drain and TV connections and some have private sanitary facilities. All the amenities here are of excellent quality and are particularly targeted at families. Amenities include a well stocked shop and a bar/restaurant with a good menu and takeaway meals.
