Alan Rogers Review
De Heidehoek is a well established site in woodland, close to the bustling town of Zwolle and the IJssel river. The site is landscaped with shrubs and flowers and the buildings are constructed of wood which gives the site a rustic, ‘Western’ type atmosphere. Most of the 160 numbered touring pitches are pleasantly located in the shade of mature trees. Access roads are tarmac and most pitches have 4A electricity. A planned extension to the site will add an extra 150 touring pitches (with 6/10A electricity). There are also plans to further develop a lake and its small sandy beach into a ‘water paradise’. Some train noise can be heard.
