Upper Carr Caravan Park

Pickering, North Yorkshire, Yorkshire

Alan Rogers Review

With a central location in the Vale of Pickering, Upper Carr is well placed for the many attractions the area has to offer. The enthusiastic manager is keen to develop it into a family-friendly park, introducing themed weekends and nature trails, and recently a new, reasonably priced restaurant. The park is surrounded by a high, well trimmed hedge which protects it from the wind and deadens the road noise. Upper Carr’s six acres provide 80 level pitches, 75 with 10A electricity and some with hardstanding. Seasonal units use 25 pitches. The picturesque village of Thornton le Dale can be reached on foot or by bicycle along the Upper Carr nature trail.
