Trossachs Holiday Park

Aberfoyle, Stirling, Heart of Scotland

Alan Rogers Review

Nestling on the side of a hill, three miles south of Aberfoyle, this is an excellent base for touring this famously beautiful area. Lochs Lomond, Ard, Venachar and others are within easy reach, as are the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park and, of course, the Trossachs. Very neat and tidy, there are 45 well laid out and marked pitches arranged on terraces with hardstanding. All have electricity and most also have water, drainage and TV connections. There is also a large area for tents. There are trees between the terraces and lovely views across the valley. The adjoining oak and bluebell woods are a haven for wildlife, with wonderful walks. A member of the Best of British Group.

A timber building houses sanitary facilities providing a satisfactory supply of toilets, showers and washbasins, the ladies’ area being rather larger, with two private cabins. Laundry room. Well stocked shop (all season). Games room with TV. Play equipment (on gravel).
