On a headland jutting into the Trondheimfjord some 40 km. from Trondheim, Trasavika commands an attractive position. For many this compensates for the extra distance into town. The 32 pitches with fjord view (some slightly sloping), all with electricity connections (10/16A), are on an open grassy field at the top of the site, or on a series of terraces below. These run down to the small sandy beach, easily accessed via a well designed gravel service road. To one side, on a wooded bluff at the top of the site, are 19 cabins (open all year), many in traditional style.

Getting there...
Site is to the west of Viggja with direct access from the E39 between Orkanger and Buvik, 21 km. from the E6 and 40 km. west of Trondheim. It is best to use the Børsa exit from the direction of Trondheim off the E39 to save possible toll charges if using Orkanger exit, a 6 km. detour in each direction.
