Thorpe Hall Caravan & Camping Site

Driffield, East Yorkshire, Yorkshire

Alan Rogers Review

Just outside the village of Rudston, in the grounds of Thorpe Hall, this pleasant small touring park is six miles from the sea at Bridlington. Enthusiastically managed by Jayne Chatterton, it is set on flat grass, largely enclosed by the old kitchen garden wall. The 78 large pitches have electrical hook-ups (16A) and TV connections. A separate field accommodates 14 tents. There are no caravan holiday homes or seasonal pitches. Tourist information leaflets on a range of local walks are provided and Sir Ian MacDonald takes visitors on walks around the estate.
