Thorness Bay Holiday Park

Cowes, Isle of Wight, South

Alan Rogers Review

Spread over a large area of rural down and woodland that slopes down to Thorness Bay, this is a large site with around 500 holiday homes. The touring area has 122 pitches, most with 16A electricity including 27 multi-serviced pitches on gravel hardstandings with electricity, water, drain and TV points. These and some grass pitches are on terraces served by tarmac roads. The remainder are on sloping open grassland either divided by ranch style rails or in an open tent area, and all have views of the surrounding countryside. The main activity centre is located in the holiday home area, a short walk from the touring site.
