The stretch of coast from Cork to Skibbereen reminds British visitors of Devon before the era of mass tourism. This is rich dairy country, the green of the meadows matching the emerald colours of the travel posters. Thanks to the warm and wet Gulf Stream climate, it is also a county of gardens and keen gardeners. The Meadow is best described not as a site but as a one-acre garden surrounded, appropriately, by lush meadows. The owners, who live on the park, have cunningly arranged accommodation for 19 pitches, 14 with 6A electric hook-ups (12 Europlugs), among the flower beds and shrubberies of their extended garden. There are 12 hardstandings. Among the homely features are a campers’ kitchen and dining area.

Getting there...
Park is 1.5 km. east of Glandore, off N71 road, on R597 midway between Leap and Rosscarbery (coast road). Approach roads are very narrow.
