The Hideaway Camping & Caravan Park

Skibbereen, Co. Cork, South West

Alan Rogers Review

A sister park to The Meadow at Glandore, the Hideaway is ideally situated as a touring base for the West Cork region. It is a well run site under the constant supervision of the owners and although it enjoys tranquil surroundings, including preserved marshland, it is only ten minutes walk from the busy market town of Skibbereen. The Hideaway is a two-hectare, touring only park with 60 pitches, including 50 with hardstanding and 6A electric hook-up. The remainder are for tents. Shrubs and low hedges divide the park giving an open feel overall and commanding views across the fields and hills. One long building houses reception, the toilet facilities and a games room.
