Terrassen Camping is a family run site arranged on terraces, overlooking the lovely Lake Julso and the countryside. It is open and spacious, and when we visited was liely with people enjoying themselves. There are 235 touring pitches with good views, all with electricity (10/16A). The solar heated swimming pool has a paved terrace and is well fenced. This is a comfortable base from which to explore this area of Denmark where a warm welcome, real enthusiasm for making your holiday enjoyable, and good English will greet you.

Getting there...
From the harbour in the centre of Silkeborg follow signs and minor road towards Sejs (5 km) and Ry (20 km). Site lies on the northern side of the road at village of Laven (13 km). Height restriction of 3 m. on railway bridge over this road.
