Rheinwiesen is a friendly site in a very pleasant setting on the banks of the Rhine, with plenty of shade from a variety of tall trees. It is level and grassy, the first half being open lawns and the rest of the touring area wooded, with numbered pitches (mostly small – up to 70 sq.m). There are many day visitors in summer as the site is ideally placed for swimming, canoeing and diving in the Rhine. Whilst here, you would not want to miss the impressive waterfalls at Schaffhausen, 150 m. wide and 25 m. high.

Getting there...
From Schaffhausen head east towards Kreuzlingen (road no. 13) for about 2.5 km. Site is signed just before Langwiesen. If coming from the east, it is a tight turn into the site.
