Alan Rogers Review
Meride is a small village in the extreme south of Switzerland close to the Italian border, and not far from the A2/N2 motorway. Parco al Sole is on a slight slope 1 km. from the village, with mountain views. There is space for 64 small units, 40 with electricity connections (13A) available for all. The pitches are not numbered or marked out, but are level on terraces, mostly among tall trees. When the site is busy, units could be crowded, it is therefore requested that towing cars are parked outside. Possibly a little remote for a night stop, but a pleasant, relaxing spot from which to explore as far as Lake Como.

From N2/A2 motorway take exit 52 for Mendrisio towards Stabio, Varese. Head to Rancate then Basazio, Arzo and Meride. Site signed (6 km. from motorway exit). Road to site is narrow.
