L’Atlantique is quietly situated just outside Beg-Meil. The 432 pitches are predominantly used by tour operators with about 90 for independent visitors. Pitches are level and grassy, all with electricity, separated by low shrubs. Apple orchards used for cider production are also on the site. All the facilities are grouped together in the centre including an innovative play area and pool complex with both indoor and outdoor pools, water slides and a paddling pool. The sandy beach faces the Glénan Islands and is a pleasant 400 m. walk away through a nature reserve. Coastal paths await exploration and Concarneau, Pont-Aven and La Pointe du Raz are all nearby.
Facilities
Fully equipped toilet blocks (cleaned three times a day) include facilities for disabled visitors. Restaurant (July-August). Shop, bar, snack bar with takeaway meals and pizza (all season). Heated outdoor and indoor pools, water complex with slides (all season). Tennis. TV room. Billiards. Minigolf. Sports ground. Play area. Children’s club (4-12 yrs) and evening entertainment in July/Aug. Play room for children 0-4 yrs. Bicycle hire. WiFi throughout (charged).
