Alan Rogers Review
A very comfortable and pleasant municipal site just off the main E18 motorway from Oslo to Stockholm, this has 200 large marked and numbered pitches, 150 of these with electricity (10A). The terrain is flat and grassy, there is good shade in parts and the site is well fenced. There are 23 alpine style cabins for rent with window boxes of colourful flowers. Reception is very friendly. There is direct access to the towpath of the Strömsholms Kanal and nearby is the Kanal Museum. The site provides hire and transportation of canoes for longer canal tours.

Turn off E18 at Hallstahammar and follow road no. 252 to west of town centre and signs to campsite.
