This attractive, very high quality park is in an outstanding craggy, part-wooded, hillside location with fine views over Morecambe Bay. It takes 80 touring units, with 339 privately owned caravan holiday homes and 14 to rent, located in woodland away from the touring pitches. With just 5 grassy pitches for tents (steel pegs required), the remaining large touring pitches are on gravel hardstandings, all with electricity (16A), free TV connection, individual drainage and water points. The main complex with reception and the entrance barrier, provides a well stocked supermarket, lounge bar, restaurant with good value meals and a terrace with views over the bay.
Facilities
Two modern, heated toilet buildings are fully equipped with top quality fittings and include some private cubicles with WC and washbasin. Excellent provision for disabled visitors with a reserved pitch and parking bay adjacent. Launderette. Shop. Gas supplies. Bar and restaurant. Indoor pool (17x17 m, with lifeguard) with spa pool, steam room and sauna. Well equipped gym (charged). Playgrounds. Games room. Pitch and putt course (£2 per person). Facilities are limited mid week in January and early February.

Getting there...
From traffic lights in centre of Carnforth take road to Silverdale under low bridge. After 1 mile turn left signed Silverdale and after 2.5 miles over level crossing, carry on and turn right at T-junction. Follow Holgates sign from here watching for left then right forks (narrow roads). O.S.GR: SD460755.
