Alan Rogers Review
Sandyhills Bay is a small, quiet park beside a sheltered, sandy beach. Reception is on the left through a car park used by visitors either walking the hills or enjoying the beach. Beyond is a large flat camping area, above which, divided by a tree lined hedge, are 60 pitches, 36 taken by holiday homes situated around the perimeter. The 24 touring pitches, most with 16A electricity connections are in the centre of the flat grass area. Wooden wigwams with a terrace and picnic bench are available to rent. This is an excellent family park, with the beach and a children’s play area on the park.
Facilities
The sanitary facilities are of traditional design, situated in one central block to the side of the touring area. Laundry room (tokens from reception). Shop. Adventure play area by the beach. Visitors can also use the facilities at Brighouse Bay, the largest park in the Gillespie Group. Barrier at entrance and beach car park (returnable deposit).
