Sandy Balls sits high above the sweep of the Avon river near Fordingbridge, amidst woodland which is protected as a nature reserve. It well deserves the entry it has maintained in these guides for over 30 years and continues to improve and develop. Very well run and open all year, the 120-acre park has many private holiday homes as well as 26 caravan holiday homes and 117 lodges for rent. The touring areas have 233 marked, hedged, serviced pitches for caravans and tents on part-hardstanding and part-grass, with 16A electricity and TV connections.

Three toilet blocks have underfloor heating and washbasins in cubicles. Portacabin style units with hot water for the tent field. Toilets for disabled visitors and baby facilities. Excellent central launderette. Motorcaravan service point. Entertainment and activity programme (high season). Outdoor pool (25/5-1/9). Indoor pool (66x30 ft). Well equipped gym, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and hair and beauty suite. Games room. Adventure playground and play areas including indoor soft play area. Tents for rent. River fishing (permit). Riding stables. Bicycle hire. Archery. Dogs only allowed on certain fields.
