Sakskøbing Camping

Sakskøbing, Lolland, Islands

Alan Rogers Review

This small, traditional style site provides a useful stopover on the route from Germany to Sweden, within easy reach of the Puttgarden - Rødby ferry. There are 100 level grass pitches (90 for tourers), most with electricity (10A Europlug) and, although there are a fair number of seasonal units, one can usually find space. There is a pool at a nearby sports centre. The site has a well stocked shop, which is open long hours, but the attractive town centre is semi-pedestrianised, and has a good range of shops and a supermarket. The town is noted for its unusual ‘smiling’ water tower, which you pass on the way to the site.
